Fox Pups

An old friend and former coworker contacted me to tell me about the fox den on her brother’s property and offered to get me in touch. I spent one early morning photographing them and wish I could have spent more. Since foxes often return to the same den year after year, hopefully I’ll have an opportunity again next year!

I had dropped my camera bag and an extra camera nearby while photographing with another camera and longer lens. On her way out to hunt again she stopped to investigate my bag. Then appeared to wink at me.
Headed out to hunt. She had a lot of pups to feed. In my short time I was there I saw her come back with three meals for the pups.
