Every year, I make a point to revisit the photos I’ve taken—not just to see what stands out, but to retrace the trips I took, the places I wandered, and the moments that shaped the year. It’s part reflection, part nostalgia, and part fuel for whatever comes next.
By the numbers, 2025 was a big one. I made more photos than I have in years—over 15,000, if my tracking can be trusted—spanning everything from long-anticipated bucket-list trips to quiet outings within walking distance of home. Big adventures and small, familiar scenes both found their way into my camera.
If that creative output hasn’t quite been reflected in the number of newsletters lately… well, that was intentional. I set out to scale back a bit and—mission accomplished. Possibly too accomplished. (And genuinely, thank you to everyone who reached out to check in.) This year, I’m aiming for a steadier rhythm again: about one newsletter per month.
